Owing to the fact that Kutch is a water scarce region with scanty rainfall but with very efficient irrigation system there is a widespread awareness within the campus on the importance of Rain water harvesting, thus Several rainwater harvesting units have been established in the campus like Water Recharging Wells, Pits, Percolation tanks, plots and also rooftop harvesting. Hence all the measures for rain water harvesting deem the campus to be a Zero Discharge Campus.
